Situated in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin, this home blends a French country cottage aesthetic with a refined rustic feel. To complement the intimate scale and antique collection, we applied a lightly hand troweled clay finish to every wall and ceiling. The earthen texture creates a soft warmth that flows seamlessly between rooms, providing a backdrop that feels both elegant and grounded. This handcrafted application allows natural light to catch the subtle trowel marks, adding a layer of quiet character to the space.
