As an artisan plasterer, my passion is helping people create beautiful environments in which their lives can unfold.
Whatever your aesthetic, quality craftsmanship can be both seen and felt. It’s there in the nuanced colors and textures of natural materials. It’s there in the way light plays across everyday surfaces. An artisan touch can make a space magical.
My work inspires me to be a student of my materials, and of my clients. When we work together, I’ll listen first to deeply understand how you use your spaces, and what mood you wish to enhance in your environment. From there, I create bespoke samples that allow you to see and feel the possibilities.
In the bustle of day-to-day life, we may not consciously notice the finer details of our surroundings. But I believe attending to these details creates spaces in which we are each invited to thrive.

About Éire Artisan Plasters
Diarmuid founded Éire Artisan Plasters in 2009 to serve Austin, the surrounding Hill Country, and beyond with his more than 24 years of artisan plastering experience. He was born and raised in Ireland and spent a year traveling in Australia before moving to the United States and eventually Austin in 2008. Diarmuid loves to push the limits of what’s possible with plaster. When he’s not on the job site or in his studio he can be found hiking the beautiful trails around Austin, hanging out with friends or traveling the world.

Born in a 19th century British townhome and raised in Bermuda in a stone house with a limewashed roof before returning to the U.S. for school, Brad has perused a life-long fascination with traditional building systems and the natural finishes that beautify and protect them. This intellectual obsession, combined with his 15 years in Austin as a natural plaster artisan and residential contractor focused on sustainability and habitant health have led to an unrivaled technical understanding of clay and lime materials in combination with the ever-advancing building science that their durability and performance depend on. He relishes each opportunity his collaborations with Eire Plastering provide to apply the best natural finishes available in beautiful high-end spaces with one of the industry’s most accomplished artisans.
